These terms apply to Support Attachment Sync for Jira (the "App"), provided by IDEAL WORKS.
If you obtained the App from the Atlassian Marketplace, your purchase, billing, refunds and licence are governed by Atlassian's own Marketplace Terms of Use and your agreement with Atlassian. These terms do not replace them. They describe the things Atlassian's terms do not: what the App does, what we promise about running it, and what we do not promise.
Where the two conflict on a matter Atlassian governs — payment, licensing, refunds — Atlassian's terms win.
Two further documents form part of this agreement:
The App copies files attached to an Intercom® conversation onto a Jira issue you have linked to it, as ordinary Jira attachments. When a linked conversation changes, Intercom notifies the App and it syncs that conversation; you can also request a sync of one straight away from the issue panel. How soon the files arrive depends on the queue, how much there is to sync, and any retries.
The App requires a paid Intercom subscription, which is a separate product sold and licensed by Intercom, Inc. under your own agreement with them. It is not included with the App, we do not resell it, and the App does nothing without it.
We promise to describe the App honestly. Known defects are published on the status page as we find them, including ones we have not fixed yet.

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
We, not Intercom, answer for the data the App handles. IDEAL WORKS — not Intercom — is responsible and liable for the privacy, security and integrity of any Intercom data the App processes. Intercom provides the API the App reads from; it does not operate the App, and it is not answerable for what the App does with what it reads. What the App reads, how it processes it, how long it keeps it and who it is shared with are set out in the privacy policy.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may change the App and these terms. Material changes to these terms are published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Changes to what the App stores or sends are published in the Privacy Policy at the same time.
If you do not accept a change, stop using the App and uninstall it.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Jira site. Press Disconnect on the settings screen first if you want the stored Intercom access token and signing secret removed at a specific moment; uninstalling leaves cleanup to the Atlassian platform's own schedule.
Attachments already synced remain on their Jira issues as ordinary Jira attachments.
We may suspend or discontinue the App. If we discontinue it, we will say so on the status page and in the Marketplace listing.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country where you are resident.
